PRODUCT INFORMATION - ASTRO SERIES
ASTRO series is the system for transferring a design to an object of various shapes.
By using ASTRO COAT, the position of each design can be exactly secured. ASTRO INK is one-component reaction type, and its excellent property has been highly regarded. It can be applied to ceramics, metal products, plastic products, and etc. ASTRO series consists of ASTRO COAT, ASTRO INK, and ASTRO MEDIUM, and it can be transferred to the object by slide transfer.
Illustration of ASTRO SYSTEM:
1. Print the design on the ASTRO transfer paper with ASTRO INK by 250~400 meshes. (Fig.1)
2. After drying for approx. 1 hour at room temperature, apply ASTRO COAT by 70~100 meshes so as to overspread the design. Then, dry it for 1 hour at room temperature once more. (Fig.2)
3. Soak the printed matter into the water for a few minutes.
4. Stick above 3. to the object to be transferred.
Hold the edge of the printed matter by hand, and pull out only the transfer paper. Then leave only the design covered ASTRO COAT on the object tone transferred. (Fig.3)
5. Remove the air bubble and water between the object to be transferred and the design with the rubber knife to have good adhesion. (Fig.4)
6. Leave it for approx. 1 hour at room temperature.
7. Peel the ASTRO COAT. (Fig.5)
8. Wipe off stains of ASTRO COAT with the wet towel.
Baking it under the suitable condition for each object to be transferred, then have cure to finish.
